Title: How to Dye Naturally
Duration: 1 min 11 sec
Year: 2021

Lady Sidney Nimbus teaches us "How to Dye Naturally" by catching colours from flowers and other natural but enchanted things in professional oysterist James Burton's croft in Orinsay on the Isle of Lewis, and putting them on, in or next beside some local sheep. She ends up with the bobbins used by James' dad to weave Harris tweed, along with a few other threads from life's rich tapestry. With cosmic typist Verity Spott demonstrating how to stand your ground in relation to any multicoloured bows that you might wear in your hair, purple thistle infused with the singing bowls of Dolly Rae Star, and flecks of green-gold mesmerised from eagles by Natasha Allden. Also features an undercover durational performance by Sprout, with musical backing by Neapolitan marching-band mandolinist, Joseph Minden.
